You should sell a horse that is sound unless you are up front about any defects. Horse people stick together and if one of them gets wind of a horse seller抯 unethical behavior, you can bet that many, many of his horse people friends will know soon! If you sell a horse online, be as honest about the animal as possible, in your communications with the potential buyer. You do not want to sell an animal, have it transported several hundred miles only to have the buyer reject it because there was something that you did not tell him. It is bad for your reputation, but, more importantly, it is very stressful to the animal. And you want to avoid that at all costs.
