For Caring Pet Parents

My hubby and I went away for a meeting last September. We already made plans for the next one we are going to attend this year. We're pet parents and have a Maine Coon cat, Dobie-Chow mix dog, a Cockatiel bird and three aquariums. We really hate to leave them even just for a few days. My brother lives right up the street, and he came over to let the dog out and spend a little time with them while we were away.

Being a pet parent, you even hate to think what would happen if there was ever a fire while you were away. We have home alarm monitoring with Alarm Relay, and if heaven forbid there was one, the smoke detector will immediately contact our nearest fire department even if the alarm's disarmed. That's a great peace of mind. Not everyone is as caring a pet parent as some of us are. I just read in horror that sixty-eight animals found dead trapped in a New Jersey home. They stated that things got rough and they couldn't care for them any more. How hard is it to take them to a shelter. It is just mind boggling. Then they got away with five years of probation and community service after basically murdering sixty-eight sweet innocent lives. Yes, they're animals, but they do depend on us. The joy my pets give to me is immeasurable. There've been times I have felt animals seem to care about you more than humans do.

We received a call on our cell phone that evening (we had all our home phone calls forwarded) from a phone number we didn't recognize, so we just let it go to voice mail as we were having dinner. Shortly after the phone rang once more, and we figured that if it were important they would leave a message. Well, my mother-in-law called us shortly after and said she received a phone call from the cops. They said that they responded to a call they received from our home alarm monitoring service, and they couldn't get a hold of us. Oh! I then realized who the strange phone number was! It turns out that my brother had set the alarm to "away" rather than "stay", and therefore our dog set it off because the "away" mode means nobody is home, not even a dog.

All in all, I was very pleased with their service as if it truly was an intruder, they were right on it! At $8.95 a month, their rate is simply unbeatable. Check them out today.

Yours In Safety,
