Upcoming Movie - Rabbit Hole

Rabbit Hole, starring Aaron Eckhart and Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman, had its North American distribution rights acquired by Lionsgate recently. Upcoming movie, Rabbit Hole, is directed by John Cameron Mitchell, known for "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." New Movie Release, Rabbit Hole, made its premiere at The Toronto Movie Festival a few days ago on September 13.

This box office movie is the first release of Nicole Kidman's company, Blossom Films. Lionsgate is hoping for a winter 2010 movie release.

David Lindsay- Abaire adapted "Rabbit Hole" from his own Pulitzer Prize winning and Tony winning play, "Rabbit Hole". It's produced by Leslie Urdang and Dean Vanech, both of Olympus Pictures. Nicole Kidman and Per Saari produced it for Blossom Films. Gigi Pritzker is the producer for Odd Lot Entertainment. The announcement of the acquisition of this film on the New Movies Listwas made today by Lionsgate's Chief Operating Officer, Joe Drake, who is also Motion Picture Group President, and Lionsgate President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions, Jason Constantine.

Among Movie Quotes about the film, Constantine said: "We are proud to be the home of Rabbit Hole, a drama that not only has great pedigree, but passion, humor, emotion, and profound insight. We are very much looking forward to working with Nicole, Aaron, John and David to bring their extraordinary work to North American audiences."

Producer per Saari said: "Nicole and I are elated. From the beginning, Rabbit Hole has been dream collaboration, and it continues here with Lionsgate."

Lionsgate negotiators were Constantine, Lionsgate Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions, Eda Kowan and Wendy Jaffe, Executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, Acquisitions and Co-productions. The deal was brokered on behalf of Odd Lot, Blossom Films and Olympus Pictures by CAA, which is the representative of Kidman, Mitchell, Eckhart and Teller.

"Rabbit Hole" is about a married couple who struggle to save their marriage after a terrible loss.
