Humans are able to catch diseases, so we should expect pets to catch diseases as well. There are many diseases which are always able to infect our pets, and we have to take good care of them.  Among the diseases are ringworm in dogs, mange, and distemper.  Mange and ringworm treatment is after the fact of infection, but distemper treatment is before hand with vaccines.

Of the different pets, one is the dog, a loyal animal who’s loyalty is famous.  We are willing to do dog vaccinations for our pet, and the most important for the dog, and human alike, is the rabies vaccine.  Not only is rabies incurable once it takes hold, but it is transmittable to human beings.

Dog Vaccinations

Rabies:

If left without vaccination then they are prone to rabies virus. It is a very severe kind of disease, and it is very dangerous and is of a severe kind. The infected animal's saliva can infect other animals too, so it is highly risky. If it is not immunized before symptoms arise such as violence, and intense behavioral changes, death will occur. The most deadly thing about it is that it is incurable. This deadly disease cause’s severe destruction to the mind of the affected pet, and leads to death.  It is also equally deadly to humans as we can become infected, and if treatment is not administered within a few days of the bite will lead to a gruesome death.[3]

Parasitic Diseases:

There are both internal and external diseases and they are very contagious .  Parasites are generally a little harder to protect against.

Internally round worms and tape worms are a common parasite infection. Generally de-worming treatment is effective for curing them. Sometimes blood transfusions help with hook worms. Most commonly lice, fleas, mites, and ticks are found externally on the pet. This infection is not so hazardous and is curable, but it is discomforting for the infected pet.  Treatment helps, but treatment is a long process.  It may take several de-wormings, and flea and tick collars do eventually get rid of those pests.

Ring Worm:

It infects easily but it is actually a fungal disease and it mainly affects the skin of the pet leading to scaly, dry skin and sometimes hair loss also occurs. Medicines are available and it is easily cured.  It is not a fatigue disease.   However, it passes on to the human owner at times.

This disease is a serious threat to you and your beloved pet, but with extra care and hygienic methods, along with the proper medications and vaccinations, it need not be a problem.  Indeed, most of these are avoidable and lessened through a simple regime of care and veterinarian visits.

Summary:

Ringworm in dogs, mange in dogs, and distemper in dogs are serious diseases that can also infect the human owner, so rabies vaccine and other dog vaccinations are important.
