Your dog barks non-stop day and night and you have no clue what to do about this barking. You have tried everything that you can think of doing. You have tried the bark collars, you have tried yelling you have tried screaming. However, nothing seems to be working for your dog to stop his barking. Many people have been in this situation over the years. The one thing that that you might not have tried doing is figuring out why he is barking or what he is barking at.

For instance if you are playing with your dog he will bring back the toy and start barking at you. You might not realize that he just is letting you know with his bark that he brought the toy back and is anxiously awaiting your toss. So that could be one reason why your dog is barking at you or someone else if someone else threw the toy for your dog.

Another thing that you have to remember is the breed of dog that you have. Barking for the breed may be a constant factor that you will have to learn to deal with. Some people will constantly combat the barking nature of a dog, but remember it is the way dogs communicate. So if you have a breed that does bark a lot they are probably trtying to commuinicate with the dogs around the neighborhood. Think back to the Disney movies and the dog network for spreading the news about what was going on. That is another reason why your dog could be barking.

The main reason that most people get dogs for though is to bark when someone is at the house or door. The reason for your dog barking in this case is fairly obvious he is doing what you wanted a dog for other than companionship. So you will need to let your dog know that he did a good job and reward him for his good work and job!

The barking could be caused by many different causes including playing, the breed type, or that he could be doing what you have got a dog for because someone is around. Remember whatever the reason you have to reward him when he does what you want and admonish him when he does something bad.
