A good way to do this is by making sure the executor of your estate can make spending decisions of your pets behalf. If you just can t find a caregiver, there are some facilities that specialize in long term care of pets when the owners die. These organizations will try to find a new home for your pet or take care of him/her until he/she dies. However, this option, should be the last on your list.
