Dog Training is not just giving orders to puppy and your puppy has to follow it anyhow. Dog Training is a technique of cooperation, patience, and understanding between you and the puppy. Dog Training may be unsuccessful some time because you may not know some basic things of training. So before starting dog training understand what to do and what not to do during and after the training session. I have listed a few things about this.

Do's of Dog Training -

1) Try to approach your puppy slowly and carefully.
2) If a dog approaches you and remain calm; dont shout, be patience.
3) Be a nice to your dog every time even if the dog does small mistake.
4) Give commands till dog learn the technique.
5) Use a normal tone of voice while training.
6) Keep your dog mentally stimulated during training session.
7) Give one command at a time, multiple commands at a time may confuse the dog.
8) Give some time after each new command, the dog may need time for reaction.
9) After successful completion of the command or training session, give treat, this will encourage the dog.
10) Do practice on commands regularly at different locations.
11) Use plenty of dog toys to play with them.
12) Try to build strong relationship between you and the dog. This will increase trust.
13) Dog training needs too much patience so be cool and calm.
14) Use both hands and verbal commands for better understanding.
15) Use dog collars, dog crates, dog cages.
16) Always use a leash.
17) If you are attacked by dog, cover your head, face and neck.
18) Train a dog in such a way that the dog can interact with your entire family member.
19) Make training fun that will improve dog personality and health.

Donts of Dog Training -

1) Dont punish the dog unless and until required.
2) Dont use painful tools such as choke collar, shock collar etc.
3) Dont lose your temper during training. Try to end session on a good note.
4) Dont repeat commands; give some time to understand them.
5) Dont encourage undesired behaviors.
6) Dont frustrate by dog performance, try repeating it and if you are not able to do it then approach professional trainer.
7) Dont pull a dogs ears or tail.
8) Dont plan sessions for more than 20 minutes.
9) Dont take away a dogs toy.
10) Dont disturb a dog while sleeping or eating.
11) Dont do foolish things which will make dog angry and aggressive.
12) Use comprehensive training methods which will not cause any harm or injury to the dog.
13) Dont isolate the dog.
14) Dont confuse the dog by giving multiple commands at a time.
