Aggressive Dog Behavior Fear Or Dominance

Every dog shows aggression problem and need to be corrected if the aggression becomes problem. Before a pet owner starts to learn how to control aggressive dog behavior, it will be a better option for him to understand the types of aggressive dog behavior. In this article only the types only two types, fear and dominance of aggressive dog behavior have been discussed. These two cases of aggression mostly occur in dogs.

The first type of aggressive dog behavior is dominance aggression which only occurs among the breed. It means the dog under this type of aggression will never harm any human especially his owner. A dog under this type shows aggression towards another dog and tries to find who is powerful and commanding by nature towards him and simultaneously he overlooks a submissive nature dogs. However this type is the part of the nature of the dogs which has developed due to pack life and every dog has to understand at which packs hierarchy he belongs. The display of this type only leads to fight among the breed if any one them refuses to become submissive towards other dog.

The second type of aggressive dog behavior is fear aggression which is entirely different from dominance aggression. In this aggression a dog feel very insecure of the fear that has actually scared him. For instance, a former owner of a dog abused him several times and the dog has developed a fear of his previous masters abusing behavior, the dog might show aggression towards his new master because of the fear which has developed due to his former master. This aggressive dog behavior is easily recognizable; the dog will have a very disturbed body language which includes tucking up the tail between his legs and will also display whining, cringing and moaning.

These two types of aggressive dog behavior are quite common in most of the dogs but moreover it can be reduce to minimum if the current dog owner takes necessary precaution. These two behaviors can only be reduced by his owner by giving some proper care and love towards the dog.
