Pet Food: Death by Nutrition

It started out this way. Why doesn't Little Souls Pet Care promote well-known, commercially made, every-day pet foods for dogs and cats?

Answer: I know what's in them! And, trust me, you don't even want to know... really.

During almost any conversation with pet owners, I often ask if they know what's in the pet food they so lovingly feed their dogs or cats... or any other animal except cattle (legal reasons have caused cattle feed producers to clean up their act)

To put it in the simplest terms possible, what is in your average fair-to-good pet food can or dry food bag is what you would never eat yourself or even serve to someone you don't even like.

Nope.

There isn't one ingredient in commercially manufactured pet food that is a quality, nutritious, non-engineered product. And, most of the ingredients are just plain harmful to your pet in the long run.

Worse, im our discussions, it is constantly raised that all domesticated animals today live not a single day longer than they did forty years ago. And, worst still, they have now taken on the same degenerative diseases and disorders of their owners. Why is that?

In other words, not only are they not living longer, they are suffering sooner and longer from human-like degenerative diseases and disorders.

Can you imagine a dog getting a hip replacement at eleven yaers old? In fact, can you imagine even being told that your eleven year old dog or cat is 'old"? (Amanda is seventeen).

So, if I don't promote or recommend any commercially produced pet foods, then what are our loving family members supposed to eat?

Looking at eastern and western cultures, pets in the east generally don't eat commercial pet foods (though that percentage is growing). These animals and pets live about the same eleven to thirteen years but usually die frpm external causes... meaning from outside their bodies. The western pets usually die from causes within their bodies.

The easterner usually dies quick and to the point. But, western pets and animals die slowly and painfully over time.

The eastern pet oranimal has a more useful life almost up to the day s/he reaches its expiry date. Where the pet in the west takes on dabilitating diseases and disorders several years before it gives up and cashes in.

Considering the demands on eastern and western pets and animals, if we could (and lots of people do) combine the eastern diet with the care and attention of western owners, our pets would live longer and be healthier closer to their end date. That would also make for happier pet owners.

Now, don't do the following if you don't intend to follow through. It won't be fair to either you or your pet. But, it's all really quick and easy and exceptionally nutritious for your pet. Pus, it will save you a fortune in vet bills as your pet ages more gracefullu and happily.

As you grow into providing your family pet with better, better tasting, more nutritious meals, you will grow your library to provide wider choice. Even pets like variety.

In these recipes there are:
NO "meat by-products". You really don't want to know what that's made up of. NEVER buy anything for you or your pet is you read "meat by=products" or anything similar on the label.

NO "ethoxyqain". This stuff is in high end-pet foods as a 'vitamin enhancer'. In short it is a stabilizer to help keep ingredients glued together. It enhances the artificial vitamins that are in there. But, its long-term effect is joint degeneration and a shorter life-span.

NO preservatives ... of any kind! Most preservatives attack the liver and kidneys and quicken the aging process. NO 'bone meal' as a cheap indegestible filler. No value to your pet whatsoever!

NO fillers or other kinds. This is especially true of those foods that are produced offshore where their perception of pets is totally different from yours and mine.

Finally, once your pet gets on to better eating, s/he will not want to go back to the s... that we're giving them now. And, s... it the right word, because that's also what's in your pet food.

Trip on over to http://littlesoulspetcare.com/pet-food.html where you get to choose what your pet eats! Now, if you don't want to go through 'all that trouble', yes, I've included some organic stuff as well. But, I have not tested any of these myself on Amanda. Probably never will!

Ciao for now
