Grooming your pitbull puppy on the regular is a must, pitbull puppies are short hair coated that needs attention, I perfer to use a brush and a high quality shampoo. Start the grooming process at early age. When the dog gets older will be a custom to be groomed. Regular vists to the Vet also makes life easy for the pup and its owner, you dog need all of its shots and regular vists for check ups.

The size of your pitbull can vary typically the heights range from 17-23 inches and the weight about 45-110 pounds. Overall the pitbulls are good healthy dogs, however a few reports show that the breed can suffer from hip dysplasia and heart disease. The average life span for a pitbull is approximately 11-12 years. I recommened a good diet,healthy foods and good exercise for you dog. Always show your dog who's the boss, never let your dog have its way, because that when aggression comes into play, and we never was that towards the owner or any person. When search for a pitbull to purchase I recommend that you take a good look at a variety of pitbull kennels and not just the first one you see, take your time and look at different litters. I highly recommend starting your dog training at a early stage in the pups life.
