White Silence

At the South Pole, the junction of sea and land was covered by the heavy ice layer. If the penguins which look for the food undersea want to return back land, they have to jump out of an ice cave. In order to login successfully, these penguins need to dive into the sea about three miles before takeoff, and then they rely on the buoyancy of water to jump. In the group of penguins, the leader penguins play a very important role. It is not only need the judgment of the right cave, but also need the courage to go head.

The seal is one of the natural enemies to the penguins. One day, a clever seal found a cave which the penguins regarded it as the outlet. So he crouched down the cave and waited an opportunities to catch a penguins. Not for a long time, the leader jump from the cave as like a shell, and when he fell down the ice layer, he ran away fast. At the same time, he saw the seal, but he kept silence instead of the warning. And then, the other penguins jumped one by one from water. Some penguins flied over the head of seal, some fell beside seal. At last, a slow one was caught by the seal.

Logically speaking, the leader will give warning to other penguins when he found the seal. But why he kept silence? That was because it will lead to the others nervous if he did that and then influence the plan of landing. If the penguins were trapped in the water, they will face a huge danger. At that time, the number of death will increase. So it was a wisdom choice to the leader to keep silence.

It is completely necessary to image the possible difficulties and risks when we prepared to have an undertaking. But sometimes we often think the difficulties overly and at this time we will lost many chances. It is like climbing, if you always see the steep cliffs, you will not dare to move out. If only you pay attention to do a thing, you will have the courage to challenge. And then the beautiful scenery is waiting for you in the front.
