I want to share a story with you regarding the nightmare my poor puppy has endured from mange. The photos 100_1679 – 100_1756 Lacey had dermodedic mange so bad. I got her from a shelter in Arkansas on Aug 24, 2009 (she was 3 months old). When she was shipped up to me, I noticed those red rings around her eyes. The vet I had at the time said she had an allergic reaction to something. I spent a fortune trying to figure out what it was. (When I contacted the humane society that I bought her from, they wanted to come get her and put her down. I would not let that happen, as rescue dogs deserve to have a good life and even though I was on unemployment at the time, she was my new baby and I wanted to make her better) After I suggested he do a skin scrapping, we found out she had an outrageous amount of mange, puppy mange. Every two weeks I did that dip and she got so sick from it. Just when we thought she was getting better, it got worse. I was broke and the vet said she didn’t have mange anymore and it was an allergy so I put her on gluten free food. My pocket book was getting empty, and I really didn’t feel right about his decision so I changed Vets on Aug 9,2010. The new vet said she had more mange on her then he’s seen on any puppy so he put Lacey on Promeris every two weeks for 4 treatments then once a month after that. Photos 100_2745 – 100_2744 were taken today after 6 months of being on Promeris, this is what my beautiful dog really looks like!!!! What an amazing difference. My poor puppy, for the first year of her life had to with stand horrible chemical treatment baths which got her so sick and did nothing to help her and cost me a fortune. This is a wonderful product, It is truly an amazing product. She may have to be on this for life, but it takes the place of her other flea and tick treatment and it does so much more, plus is very affordable.
