     Why consider dog obedience training

Hello fellow dog owners, my name is Troy, I live in Las Vegas. I am a proud dog owner of great family dog named Layla. We have had Layla for a few years now and she is really a great dog. However that was not always the case. You see back in 2008 I had promised my daughter that if she made improvement in school and raised her grades that we would get a dog. My daughter never had a dog before and I had not had a dog since I was child. Well, you guessed it she improved her grades and we set out to find a family dog.

We were proud that we able to rescue a dog that may have been put down and we saved money as well. We also got lucky as found what we believe to be an English Pointer. We did not realize that when we were looking at all the dogs at the animal shelter, we just knew she was adorable and my daughter instantly fell in love with her. How I learned about dog obedience training

Well we quickly realized why it was suggested to have Layla take dog obedience training classes. In the first week she had chewed up 2 pairs of my shoes, destroyed several of daughter抯 stuffed animals and ate the cables to my son抯 video game controllers. She also had a very sensitive stomach and many of the dog foods we tried feeding here gave her diarrhea. I was regretting ever agreeing to get a dog, my life just got even more stressful. Now as I mentioned I am a single father with 2 young children, a full time job and volunteer as my kids youth soccer coach.
