The Right Way to Clean and to Tidy Your Rabbit Hutch

Having rabbits at home requires lots of dedication and responsibility. Owning a rabbit does not only entail providing him with nutritious food, shelter and bringing him to the veterinarian for regular check ups, but you have to ensure that their hutch are clean to prevent them from having diseases or illnesses.

Raising rabbits is worthwhile and fun experience. It is comparable to raising cats because you can keep them indoors and they can be litter trained.

They are among the preferred pets of both adults and children because they are adorable, they are cute and they do only require minimal space to maintain. Studies show that these animals have longer life span than other animals and they could live for as long as 10 years if properly nurtured and cared by pet owners.

Nature of rabbits:

These animals are intelligent, lively, inquisitive, affectionate, playful and they prefer to be cuddled or being handled by their owners. They exist in different colors, breeds and coats.

They are suitable as pets because they can be left alone during the day by only providing another rabbit as companion. However, they are not suitable pets for small children because they do not know to handle them, thus, there is a possibility of getting kicked or scratched. They can be kept outdoors or indoors but they require enough room or space as their living quarters. They are usually active during dawn and dusk and sleep during the day.

These animals are herbivores by nature and they have high reproduction rate.
