Hello All, here's a bit of my personal experience for all my enthusiast readers.

In a nutshell, I am a 24 year old daughter of my parents, younger sister of my siblings and a best buddy to my feathered friends. Since I came to this earth, I love peace and this is the main reason why I remain out from my city many a times. I like nothing rather than to sit on my deck and watch different kinds of birds roaming around searching for tasty treats. In fact, you can say that recently I have just become an amateur bird watcher and always have been trying out various methods to attract a number of birds to my yard. Here are some of the ways that have worked so far.

First of all I kept some of the bird feeders around the place. I hanged some of them in the halfway of one tree and kept some other on the ground. Doing this is the best way to make the birds aware that ample amount of food is present, which in turn is an effective way to attract wild birds. Once a bird finds its food, it is sure that it will visit the place again and again. I did this and found a good number of birds visiting my garden.

Secondly, I kept a birdbath of vibrant color in the middle of the yard. Probably the color is what that attracted my feathered friends the most. It was very exciting for me to find number of birds taking bath when I woke up early in the morning.

Lastly, I read somewhere that providing birds with dried mealworms is the best way to attract a number of birds to your yard. I was a bit doubtful while trying this, but it really works. I purchased some dried mealworms and scattered them and it was so much fun for me watching the birds when they take their tasty treats.
