The Botfly larvae in the stomach, creates inflammation causing chronic gastritis, constipation and/or diarrhoea. Tapeworms are found in the small and large intestines and can cause colic, it is very difficult to detect tapeworm in the horses faeces so it very important to treat for this twice a year with a wormer such as Equimax.
