It's tough time for the old dog when you decide to get a new dog or a puppy in your house. When the new member of the family arrives, the old dog feels afraid or violent and may behave unexpectedly. The jealousy may cause problems, especially if the old dog has been the only pet in your family. Placing your dog to a good boarding kennel will have your dog as healthy, clean, and parasite-free when you take him as you expect him to be when you get him back again. Explain the kennel operator any habits or conditions that might make your dog difficult to handle.?br />
Find out if the kennel stocks the brand of food your dog is currently eating. If not, determine if it is possible of boarding dogs. A change in diet when you are away may be dangerous for your dog. You should also determine if the kennel staff will assume the responsibility of giving your dog necessary medications on schedule. Deliver the dog a few days early, then telephone to make sure he is getting along before you leave.
