Acid Reflux seems to be a topic, which comes up in my life constantly.?First encounter with what is properly called GERD was when I was 8 months pregnant and had terrible acid reflux.?A little Zantac would help making easier to eat.?Two weeks after my son was born, he started gurgling constantly after every meal and cried all day long.?After three days of non-stop crying, the pediatrician tells me my two week old has GERD and prescribed him a baby prescription of Zanatc.?Okay got through that and now he is three and I am not pregnant.?GERD is a distant memory or so I thought.?

Last year my husband decided we should adopt a stray foxhound who showed up at his place of work.?The puppy was only about 8 weeks old so of course from the cute eyes and goofy face we decided to make her a new edition to our family along with our sweet and obedient chocolate lab.?Okay almost a year we have had our sweet mutt hound.? Recently she started burping and gurgling after every meal and in some cases regurgitation.?Guess what匞ERD has reared its ugly acidic head.?I am assuming this of course since she only does this after gulping down her dog food like a dyson vacuum sucks up dirt.? She starts burping and gurgling her throat and I think to myself what is going on.?Aside from the inconvenience of cleaning up her mess, I do feel bad for her because I know how it feels.?

Now the question is what shall I do about our very adorable and smart but goofy foxhound who has stolen our hearts but not my patience with this ailment.?I blame it all on my husband and his kind heart.?Geez.?An acquaintance helped 爉e diagnosis my dog after describing her symptoms and she had the same problem with her pup.?She tells me to feed her smaller more frequents meals.?I will try this and hope it works for my sanity and her discomfort.? I thought I was over this GERD invasion, which has infiltratedjust about every 爉ember in my home抯 esophagus except my husband who has the?gut of an immortal. I wonder if I could give?the ole hound half of a zantac.?If this doesn抰 work I guess?I will fork up the money to take her to the vet.牋
