Digital products are usually information based and have low overheads, this can result in the commission percentage being higher than a physical product.

Another type of product that you can sell is a monthly subscription product. For example, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal both offer a commission that will recur monthly which is a very attractive offering for those who like to earn profits from less effort.

So you can link through to many different products or many different merchants and sell products with a related theme. This makes it easier to catch the eyes of a particular audience online. With any type of marketing, it is important to discover who your target market is and ensure that your site is made accessible to them by making it available in places that they will visit. Once you gain a readership of your website, you will then be in a stronger position to sell products to your readers.
