Are You Tired of Watching Your Dog Suffer With Bladder Infections?

Chronic bladder infections in canines can be quite frustrating for pet owners. It is always hard to watch our pets suffer especially when we feel inadequate to help. Maybe you have tried antibiotic treatment and have had relief of symptoms for your pet only to have the infection recur within a short amount of time.

At about 8 years of age, my Scottish Terrier started acting strange. She would pass a small amount of urine and move a few feet and pass a little more. It also appeared that she was straining a bit when she passed the urine. I also noticed that there was a pink tinge (probably blood) in her urine. She, of course could not speak in human terms, but she definitely conveyed to me that she was in pain. Having experienced the excruciating pain associated with bladder infections myself; I had extreme empathy for her.

Classic symptoms of canine bladder infections:

1. You may notice your puppy frequently urinating small amounts.

2. Your old dog may need to go outside more often or she may uncharacteristically begin wetting in the floor.

3. Your dog may also experience increased thirst.

4. You may notice your dog straining when he urinates.

Because bladder infections are confined to the bladder and not affecting other body systems, your dog may not show signs of fever, loss of appetite or even a change in blood tests.

We visited the vet and were given an antibiotic to use for 14 days. This seemed to work at first. She immediately showed signs of improvement and I thought she was cured. However, after about a month of being off of the antibiotic treatment, she began to experience the same symptoms all over again. Imagine our frustration!

This time I called a friend of mine who had used homeopathy to treat some of her animals and I started asking questions. I asked her if she knew of a natural treatment for chronic bladder infection in canines. She explained a holistic approach. She said my Scottie would need plenty of fresh water, a diet of unprocessed foods, and she also recommended a homeopathic remedy.

I was already using homeopathy with my family but had not considered it for my pets. But I did understand the homeopathic principle of 搇ike treats like.?A portion of the substance known to cause urinary problems is actually used in a miniscule amount in the remedy to heal the same problem. I immediately tried the homeopathic treatment for bladder support and my dog was feeling better within a few days. I was thrilled!

I already believed in the effectiveness of homeopathy ?but my dog didn抰 even know she was being treated. I hope you can use this information to successfully treat your faithful friend抯 chronic bladder infection.
