Rabbits make a mess around the home every four months when they shed fur. The rabbit is otherwise a good choice for children if the child is not naughty. They detest rough handling and tend to defend themselves. If the child is calm then both of them will make good friends. The vital and very bad habit of rabbit is constant chewing and they can even chew the electrical chords thereby jeopardizing them. Therefore, elderly supervision is essential when they are moving outside the cage.
