Conclusion

If you are thinking about getting a dog and you're a first time owner, you may like to consider contacting a few rescue centres before getting in touch with a breeder. You'll find there are lots of shelters that just take in specific breeds and all of these lovely four-legged friends need a new, loving and caring home. If you decide to contact a breeder, make sure you get in touch with a reputable person who takes breeding very seriously and who socialises their puppies from a young age. Never consider buying a puppy or dog from a pet shop or from a puppy farm because you could be in for a lot of heartache and it's never a good idea to support this type of breeding.
