Visit The U.S.S. Memorial

Here you will see the U.S.S. Arizona, deep within the water of the harbor. It rests on the floor of the harbor, one of the three warships that were sunk on December 7, 1941. This was the day of the Japanese attack on the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii. Even up to today, fuel oil still leaks from its turrets, which is surprising seeing that it happened more than 60 years ago. Visitors to the U.S.S. Memorial are presented with a film, and then are taken to the monument by Navy skiff. It is a solemn memorial to the 1,177 men that were killed during this attack on December 7, 1941.

Step Back in Time while visiting the Iolani Palace

Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii is situated in Oahu. Here you will find treasures that delight photographers and history buffs alike. Historic heritage and modern architecture meet in Honolulu. Skyscrapers made of metal and glass sit beside lolani Palace, which was the Kingdom of Hawaii until 1893. Nowadays, the palace is open for tours after being restored to its original glory.
