What To Do When Seeing Oahu

28 12:05:06
Hawaii is one of the most enjoyable places on this planet, and of all of the places to see in Hawaii, Oahu is most likely the most interesting for someone who\'s not a native to visit. The crisp, clean air, the pretty sunrises and sunsets, and the brilliant weather is enough right there to rationalize the plane ticket and taking the time off of work. Hawaii is a great place to just kick back and relax. But what if you need to keep going the entire time? Oahu is the busiest spot in Hawaii, and it has a large mixture of activities for all ages! rnrnThe Diamond Head park is built around a big crater (which is one of the largest in the entire world), that is so big it can surprisingly be viewed from most flights flying into the local airport. The shiny, sparkling crystals that burst from the crater were so realistic looking that the individuals who first discovered it thought them to be diamonds! Hence the name Diamond Head. rnrnOahu\'s tropical dive stores usually provide SCUBA diving outings where you can view beautiful sights of Oahu\'s glorious sea floors. The tropical fish that be found everywhere are brilliant and striking to view. A trained instructor will be at each one, so your utmost safety is all but warranted. For the less determined person, snorkeling is a wonderful way to see Oahu\'s underwater sights without having to plunge deep. Other extreme activities that Oahu is known for are para-sailing, skydiving, and surfing the waves. rnrnThough it might not be the traditional activity to do on your trip to Hawaii, Oahu does offer shopping options that cater to almost anyone. Multi-story malls abound with stores such as Cartier, Tiffany, Nordstrom, Sacks, and Macy\'s. Just make sure not to do too much shopping! Remember, you can only pack so much in your carry-on bag. rnrnDon\'t leave without seeing the Pearl Harbor and U.S.S. Arizona exhibits! These are great places to not only see artifacts, but to get a history lesson at the same time. rn rn rn
