Feeding Animals is a free online pet game that requires the player to feed a roundup of different species of animals with the right kind of food. Basically, Feeding Animals is an free flash game application aiming to entertain children. Additionally, kids are liable to learn about the real life animals represented in the game through the process of learning through association.

There are several characters in the game including Grace, Jip, Bennett, Missy, Posie, Sunny, Raccoon, Sombrito and Tatlo. Grace is a basset hound that is abandoned by her original owner. Kit and Stirling found Grace and rear her as pet. Jip is a playful puppy whose owner is Samantha. Bennet, is a puppy that belongs to Molly. Molly named Bennet after Emily Bennet, an English girl who lives with the McIntyre family. The three dogs, Grace, Jip and Bennett like to eat dog bones and red meats. Missy, is a grey cat who used to live in Larson's farm. After Missy has given birth to kittens, Kirsten adopted her.

Missy likes to eat fish, milk and red meat. Posie the lamb, was presented as a gift to Felicity from her grandfather. Posie got her name from the Posie flower in the Merriman flowerbed the she used to lie in. She likes to eat yellow and green hay. Sunny is a yellow canary bird that belongs to M' Dear. Sunny, the canary bird likes to eat blueberries and the brown bird seeds. Raccoon is a wild animal that plays an important role in Kirsten's life. The raccoon eats a wide range of food including dog bone, milk, fish and red meat. Sombrita, is a goat who loves to eat the green and brown hays. Tatlo, is a young wolf, who is adopted by Kaya. Just like the dogs, Tatlo likes to eat red meat and dog bone.

In this pet game, the food group will keep on descending on the animals. You have to swap the food groups around until the correct food is arranged in the right position. To swap the food group, you can use the mouse cursor to click on it. Every time you match the correct food to the animal, you will be awarded with 10 points. Matching the food with the wrong animal will cost you an energy bead. When you have lost all your energy beads, the game will be over. If you want to food to fall faster, you should hold down the left button of the mouse for a few seconds. The goal of the player is to swap the food in the right order before they touch the animals. If the wrong food touches the animal, you will lose points.

When the food is matched with the wrong animal, you will see a red X. The score you achieve is displayed on the top right corner of the screen. Each player starts with 10 energy beads. The energy beads are presented in vertical orange bars and are located on top of the player's score. This online pet game can be a great source of learning about animals for children, as well as entertainment.

There are three difficulty levels including easy, medium and hard. The easy level starts with two animals. In the advanced levels, the level starts with 5 animals. It is easier to match the food with the right animal in the easy level.
