If you see your dog has red eyes, rubs eyes frequently, light sensitivity increases and eyes look cloudy then you need to consult a vet to know if it is glaucoma.

Tear Production Deficiency: One of the other Chihuahua eye problems is tear production deficiency making the dog prone to eye infections and also corneal dryness.

Cataract: Another of the Chihuahua eye problems is cataract which is caused by linking of protein molecules in lens. Cataract is often caused by high blood sugar levels and deficiency in proper nutrition.
