Tip 1 - If your puppy behaves badly then make sure you tell him off in short words, with a clear and stern tone of voice. There is no need to shout at him, but you must show him that you mean business.

Tip 2 -Talk to your dog: Tell him, look at him and use short words that it can understand. Above all, avoid eye contact as it can be taken as a sign of provocation by your puppy.

Tip 3 - His bed: A dog must sleep in his place, it must have its own personal space so make sure that this is so. Take care that this space is not in your own room. When your puppy makes some mistake or behaves badly, it is this place that you should send him to. Do not let your puppy climb on beds, sofas and other furniture.

Tip 4 - Meals: A dog must absolutely eat after their masters have. You should not feed it during your own meal.

Tip 5 - Good and Evil: A dog must learn to differentiate between what is right (allowed) to what is wrong (which is not). If your dog makes a mistake, punish him immediately. On the other hand, if your puppy has responded to a command, praise him with a reward.

Tip 6 - Collar: Get your dog to wear a collar from a young age. At first, he will always try to remove it but eventually he will accept it. Once he does teach him to walk with a leash.

Tip 7 - Walking with you: You need to walk your puppy with you so that he gets used to it. Put him on a collar and leash and walk with him. If you do this regularly he will not tend to pull on his leash or try to walk off.
