There are many different cat towers on the market. The prices seem to range from around $150.00 to $400.00. The towers/trees double as scratching posts and some are covered with faux fleece. They are also called kitty gyms and some come with hammocks. Some cat towers come with rooms and they are made in various shapes and combinations of rooms, pads/flat surfaces, beds, and hammocks. Some cat furniture/towers/houses are sculptured and come in themes like Pueblo or Japanese styles. Two other themes are cactus and caves.

There is an array of cat beds offered for sale. They include: cradles, donuts, boxes, window perches, arm chaises, sofas, and pads. Some come with catnip an some are heated. Other kinds of cat beds include: cat cups, wicker domes, and scalloped beds.

Cat scratching posts are the most commonly known type of cat furniture. Scratching posts come in z shapes, angled, straight, and those shaped like a triangle. Some are made with natural woods like cedar and sometimes have a knothole with a toy in it, perhaps a mouse.

There are various kinds of cat furniture that attaches to windows like window verandas, and perches. Some of the window perches are combined with a scratching post. And pedestal steps are popular. They look like three stools each a little taller the last one.

If your cat is setting up house with its own furniture then dishes are in order too. Your cat might like a metal cat feeder shaped like a cat with two bowls, an Americana bowl, a wooden feeder with 3 bowls, fish shaped bowl or an aluminum cat bowl. Her own canister for her treats is a good idea. She might like a glass treat jar or a treat jar with a cat face. A cat feeder comes in handy if you work late or will be gone for the weekend. The automatic cat feeders can be set to feed your cat at the times of day you normally feed her. There are also elevated cat feeders that are double or single bowl items.
