But there are some Natural Tick Control methods which can work as effectively as tick medication if used properly.

Feed good quality of food:
The first important step is to feed good quality food which will help to improve health and immune system of cats. A good nutritional food on a daily basis will always benefit to the cat.
Regular bath:
A regular bath with medicated shampoo will keep cats away from ticks. Ticks cannot survive in water, so this is the best natural way to kill ticks.
Brushing and grooming:
Regular brushing with help of good quality flea comb will remove ticks remove ticks plus it makes coat healthy and shiny. The best time to do brushing is after a bath.
Vacuuming:
This is best practice to remove flea along with eggs and larvae. Do vacuuming of all places where the cat sleeps.

Home remedies:
Some home remedies will work to kill flea or to repel flea from cat skin or from its surrounding. Brewer’s yeast will make the pet's blood too acidic for bugs’ taste. Garlic can be added to cat feed will help to repel flea but please consult with pet vet as garlic may be toxic some time. Salt will kill ticks from surrounding places, spread or sprinkle slat for a few hours will kill ticks by dehydrating them.
Natural sprays of some oils or citrus fruit will also help to repel flea. Take lemon cuts it into pieces, put it in boiling water and let it sleep for overnight and use this solution to spray on cat. You can use some natural oils, put few drops in normal water and spray it with the help of the spray bottle. Some of the examples of natural oils are as follows.

Organic Infused Oils:
Olive Oil, Neem, Catnip, Lemongrass and Yarrow and Aloe Vera Oil.

Organic Essential Oils:
Catnip, Clove, Calendula, Cedarwood, Lavender, Juniper Berry, Rosemary, Citronella, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Garlic.
