Feeding birds consistently is the best way to attract them to your backyard. You must have a good wild bird feeder to attract those new birds in the neighbourhood so that they feel safe and cared for.

Hanging birdfeeders are the best as they deny access to other wild animals. Bird feeders that are protected from squirrels and other wildlife are preferable as they would cause you that much less trouble in maintaining and cleaning the feeders. In addition, wild birds would definitely safer without the sight of a vermin hovering around their feeding place.
