Question
I am an American considering applying for a job in the United Kingdom.  I will not apply for this position if I cannot take my dog and 2 cats.  Are there international laws prohibiting this, or is moving with my pets a possibility?  Your expertise is appreciated.

Answer
Hi Mary
I import from Foreign countries puppies to raise to breed as adults in life.
I have no problem as long as u have shots to date from vet report, a ten day health certificate along with temperature control written by vet what dogs can with stand in temperatures to travel back of the plane.
Drivers license to show in signing up for the flight and when pick up for I.D.
Crates high enough for the dogs-cats to stand without ears touching top of crates.  Shredded papers for absorbant material a must.  Water dish and food dish placed on door of crates a must.
To my knowledge there is not quarantine period other than a couple hours in carge to be checked upon arrival by a vet, most likely to see if drugs were transported.?
When making your flight with the airlines, ask questions about flighting your pets, their procedure, they usually tell you all about them and when arrival time is necessary to fly them.  Tell them your also on the flight, so they know your not just shipping the animals alone.

Kind Regards
Patt
