Lab/ 12day old puppies

Question
Is it ok to travel with 12 day old puppies?  We live in San Antonio, TX and will be taking a 2 1/2 hours drive to Houston.  Mother with puppies will need to go.  Is this a problem they all will be in a care together mother had travel with us before for this long.

I certainly can see no reason that this should not be OK
So long as mother and children are together.
Most of the questions asked of me refer to air travel. That
would not be ok.  Pets must be at least 8 weeks old for
most situations.  Your situation is quite different.
Just so mommy has plenty of room and the temperature is
kept proper.
