Dog to Serbia from UK and back in one month

Question
Can I take my dog with me to Serbia from the UK and then back within the month?  She came to the UK from the US when I moved last year, and she has a PETS passport, but I fear that taking her out again will necessitate quarantine. I can't bear to be parted from her!

I believe the PETS passport gives you the freedom to move around the EU and back.
Pet relocation rules are ever changing.
The  DEFRA website should be able to help you when the time comes to take the trip.
Be prepared and start your plans early.
