Moving dog from India to Prague

Question
Hi,

Working on moving my dog to Prgaue. Have done the rabies antibody test at EU approved lab and she has cleared. How do I move forward. I am unable to get clear information on the paperwork needed to take her as excess baggage (AirFrance) or as cargo. Also Airfrance does not board dogs from Bangalore, my closet metro. So I have to take my dog to Delhi. Is there any other possibility through any other airline as excess baggage or cargo? Also what do I need to get her through customs in Prague? Intransit she passes through Paris, any situation to handle there?. My routing is entirely flexible depending on what works best for her.

Thanks
Selma

Answer
Dear Selma
Really sorry for this delay.  We get nearly 100 emails everyday in
my regular business.  Since this All Expert thing is strictly
volunteer, it gets pushed aside sometimes
My strong recommendation is to contact Lufthansa, via Frankfurt;
KLM, via Amsterdam; or Austrian, via Vienna.  I do not know which of
these you have access to; but these would be better choices than
Air France.  British air is excellent but would require pets to
travel ONLY as cargo to transit UK
I strongly advise contacting: Helmut Bogner at Animals First in
Vienna.  www.animalsfirst.at   He is much closer to Prague and can
offer some expert advice on this situation.  They all speak
excellent English in case you do not speak German.
Please let me know how this goes
