Question
Hi! Hope you'll be helpful! Our Weimaraner (1,5 years old) is coming with us from Massachusetts to Moscow, Russia. I understand she will not  need to go through quarantine, is that true? And what papers will be needed other than rabies shot? Thanks in advance, happy weimaraner's owner.

Answer
You should only need the APHIS 7001 international health cert issued
within 10 days of travel and endorsed by usda.  Also, rabies vac at
least 30 days old and less than one yr.  I recommend microchip as well.
What airline are you flying on?  Check with them as to their own
requirements, if any.  Try to take dog with you as excess baggage
Much cheaper and would clear customs with you in Moscow.
Let me know if this helps
