TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS FOR DOGS FROM DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TO USA

i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I NEED TO BRING MY 1 MONTH OLD CHIHUAHUA FROM DOMINICAN REPUBLIC  TO FORT LAUDERDAL, FLORIDA, IS THERE SPECIAL REQUIRE MENTS, FEES . DOES THE AIRLEINE REQUIRE A FEE

Entry into USA is very easy.  Will need a health cert issued within
10 days of travel.  Dog is too young for rabies vac so don't worry
about it.
Try to bring dog into cabin with you.  The airline will advise you of
what you can do, and the charges.
If the dog were to fly in the cargo hold, even as excess baggage, he
would need to be at least 8 wks old.  With that breed I would
recommend at least 10 to 12 wks of age.  In the cabin would not
matter.
Do NOT feed the dog for several hours before flight.  Water ok
Do NOT sedate
