Question
What would I need in order to have a Carpathian Shepherd shipped from the airport in Brussels in Belgium to Atlanta, Georgia.  Do I have to have any permits, etc.

Thanks,
Linda

Answer
Linda
For entry into USA, all you need is health cert issued within 10 days
of travel and a valid rabies vac.  No permits, microchips, etc are
required
The only direct flight between Brussels and ATL is Delta.  They are
subject to hot outside temp embargoes, so the option might be to use
Lufthansa or Air France who have no restrictions.
Our beloved TSA is interfering more with our life these days.  They
are requiring pets from foreign countries to be shipped by pet
shippers, cargo agents or other 'known shippers'  If dog were to
come as excess baggage with someone, it would be much cheaper and
would not need these outside agents
