travel with dog in Asia

Dear friends, I live in Thailand and would like to do a road trip to Malaysia and Singapore. Can I drive/take ferry into these countries with my dog and back?

This is a question that anyone in USA, including me, would have a VERY difficult time to answer.
My best suggestion is to contact the embassies or consulate of all countries involved.
Also, visit: www.ipata.com    contact pet shippers in these countries for up to date info
I think Singapore, especially, will be VERY difficult, if even possible.
