Fresh Water eels

Question
HI, I have a pond and I was wondering if I could put a fresh water eel into the pond.  I currently have Koi, Orfe, a catfish, golgfish and shubunkin.  My main concern is that it will get enough to eat with out eating all of my other fish.  Do they eat fish food?  Thanks for your time.

Answer
I really don't know anything about freshwater eels really.  Do you live in Europe?  Most that I know, the eels spend their lives in the ocean and come into freshwater only to breed and die.  I don't know that they eat during that part of their journey.  Those that stay longer in freshwater will probably eat any fish that they can catch.  I don't know if they'll eat fish food. Sorry I don't really know much about eels as I said.
