Question
How do water plants survive underwater?
Like, how does respiration take place and why don't they rot like non aquatic plants would submerged?
            await in facination,
                        Chris
                             cheers!

Answer
I believe you asked me this question elsewhere already!  Perhaps on my forum - fishpondinfo or my e-mail?  I told you I didn't know really!  Sorry!  Respiration for completely submerged plants is not all that different than for terrestrial plants except the gas exchange occurs through  water.
