Lilypads

How do I promote lilypad growth in our ponds at work? They may be high in nitrogen and potassium but we are trying to clean that up.

Are the lilies planted in an earthen bottom or in pots?  Either way, you can add fertilizer pills in the dirt near the base of the plants.  If the water is clear, that also helps them grow (more light).  Is this a natural pond or an ornamental one?  I use PondTabbs fertilizer pills for my lilies.  Most people would prefer more flowers over leaves; I know I would!  Good luck!
