soap in pond

My 2 year old daughter dumped her bubbles into one of my ponds. I've been changing the water and scooping out the soapy bubbles but they just keep coming. Do you have any suggestions? Will my fish survive this? Thanks

How big is the pond?  If it's only a few hundred gallons or less, I would do a 100% water change.  Move the fish and animals to new water that is well aerated with added dechlorinator and some pond salt.  The pond will need to be rinsed many times to get it all out if there's a lot of soap in there.  If the pond is larger, do as many large water changes as you can.  The soap is pretty toxic but if the fish are going to die, it should be fairly quickly.  Buy a lot of fresh activated carbon.  Put that in a mesh bag in the filter to help remove the soap.  Keep changing the carbon every day or two until things improve.  Otherwise, only water changes and time will fix it.  I hope that either your pond is small and easy to completely clean out or that only a little bit of soap was added so it's not enough to kill any animals.  Good luck!
