fertilizing water lillies

do you fertilize water Lillies? if so what kind of fertilize do you use and how much per gallon. i have a very small Lilly pad pool and nobody has ever taken care of it and i don't know anything about them. thanks for your help

Hi Susan,
Thanx for your question.  Pond tabs and lily gro tablets come to mind.  Go to your local nursery that has a specialty in watergardening.  You can usually get a bag or a bottle of these tablets.  Press them deeply into the pot of the lily.  You should only need to do this a couple of times during the growing season.  I hope this helps.
