raising minnows

I,am interested in starting a minnow pond and was wondering what type of food or natural plant was the best.Also need a good web site for getting the supplies i need.

What species of minnow?  I will assume the fathead or rosy red minnow since they're easiest to get and my favorite.  My page on them is at http://www.fishpondinfo.com/rosies.htm
