attaching drip line to fountain...

Question
hello,

I am planning on purchasing a pre-built fountain from target... similar to this one (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_8/602-2559417-6724624?ie=UTF8&from...).  My question is, is it possible to attach the end of my sprinkler drip system to it?  My drip system comes on for an hour every couple days (to water my trees).  Is there a way to put some sort of regulator in it that would tell it to fill it (only when it needs filled)?  If so, can you point me in the right direction?  I live in AZ and water evaporates fast and I don't really feel like filling it everyday.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi
Apart from fitting a ballcock in the bottom chamber of the fountain that was regulated to the correct depth of water for the fountain to work, it would have to be set so that their is enough water for the fountain to work in the bottom chamber and when that level is reached the ballcock would stop the water entering your fountain,
I hope you can understand what I am saying, I think it should work but it will have to be a bit of trial and error.
George.
