Question
I was wanting to know if its safe to raise goldfish and minnows together? I am wanting to start raising them.

Answer
Are they in an aquarium or a pond?  How big?  In an aquarium, it's not likely any fry would survive because both goldfish and minnows (but especially goldfish) absolutely love to eat both eggs and fry of their species and the other.  In a large enough pond, it's possible to have surviving fry of both goldfish and minnows at the same time.  Are they rosy red minnows?  In either case, you can rescue any eggs or fry you might find to raise them in another tank if you need/want more survivors.

My pages on rosy red minnows and goldfish are at:

Good luck!
