Question
we recently installed a new pond liner.  we previously had a pond but the liner tore.  our weather has been very rainy this spring until now. we came out to find water under the liner causing it to rise and all the water from the pond underneath.  how can we stop this.  we believe the water is from the ground

Answer
Hello Carrie!
Water under the liner can be a very vexing problem and it is hard for me to suggest a remedy without seeing the layout of the pond and surrounding landscape.
The best I can tell you is make absolutely sure there is no runoff from anywhere going under it (it could be a leak in a waterfall or tubing, also).
Water under the liner is very rarely ground water coming up unless the pond is in a very low spot of the garden.
