Water Loss

hi, i have just built a pond using a flexible liner it is about 8ft x 7ft and around 2.5ft deep, i have a waterfall running into the pond however i seem to be losing water level in the pond about 2 - 3 cm over the last week, is this just down to evaporation or do you think i might have a leak somewhere????

Hi Gary:  more then likely that is an evaporation issue... if the weather has been warm out like it has been here I would almost bet that evaporation is the issue.  If the water levels drops more then that for no apparent reason then I would suspect a leak... if the weather cools off and less water is lost then you shall have your answer... dave
