biofilter media

Question
i have a 200 gallon pond, a pondmaster 1000 prefilter that is placed into the water (attached to a 500gph pump)
with a bottom compartment that i can use for biofilter media. what media should (or could) i use; CERAMIC BIO-RING media, BIO-BALLS Biological Media,or can you suggest something else

Hey Aaron either one would work. It just catches the waist and lets it breakdown on the balls or ceramic cubes. I have ceramic cubes in my salt water tanks and they work just fine. Just remember rule of thumb, when you go to change filters do not change everything at one. The fish get used to the water and when you change everything at once it shocks the fish. Thanks Eric
