Question
hi we have a fish pond in front of our house.there is not much shade around,I was told told if we put some kind of a pump to keep the water moving it would stop the algee and also if we use barley it would work. We do have a fountain with filters on it but I don't think it moves the water enough do you have any sugestions at all, other then emptying it a couple times a summer thanks Chris

Answer
Hey Chris, if you are talking about green water you would have to get a better filter. You can try putting more plants in they eat up algae. It is very hard to have clear water with no shade. I keep my ponds green because it is less work looks more natural and keeps my fish safe from predators. Hope this helps, Eric
